A trip to the Cherkasy region
On March 24, our team members traveled to Cherkasy region. In two days, we managed to achieve a number of goals that were set the day before.
On the first day, our team members Artem Kasparian and Daniil Bagiryants met with the head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration Ihor Taburets.
We got acquainted with the region’s plans for the development of rehabilitation for military and civilians, studied the existing developments in this area, and discussed the possibility of building a modern rehabilitation center for veterans. We were joined by professional rehabilitation doctors from the United States. It is very important to develop this particular area of medical care, as Cherkasy region is currently one of the centers of medical and mental recovery for Ukrainians. The achievements of the first day were not over: our friends delivered mobile ultrasound machines for field hospitals.
On the second day of the visit to Cherkasy region, together with our friends from the Bird of Light Ukraine Foundation, we delivered 16 tons of humanitarian aid to the region, including IDPs living in Cherkasy region. The cargo consisted of food, including fast food.
We thank everyone who made these few days of productive cooperation for a better future possible.
